Mostly because I farging hate Manning with a passion.
But also because I don't think he'd be as effective with our team and HC.
Can you imagine Peyton sending the punt team back on Reid?!

I relish the thought of Andy's face if Donovan did that.
Reid would turn an interesting shade of purple, call a timeout, and need a surgeon to remove his boot from Donnie's ass.
Homers. Even I said "yes".
Even with his cap killer contract?
Yes I would. Without a moment's hesitation.
I said no, but mostly because I just bought a McNabb green jersey for $21 at some sports shop that's going out of business.
Hell no. With a zesty o-line, no run game, no receivers and no defense? Lets see Peyton get to the playoffs. I'd rather have McNabb.
5 years ago, yes. By now our team is all invested in being built around McNabb and things would essentially have to be rebuilt around Peyton midway through his career, so no.
I'd kill myself if I had to see Manning with his jaw flapping for 3 hours every weekend.
I voted yes before all you Romes started testifying.
I vote no simply for the fact that we all know there is no way in hell Reid will ever get the plays into Manning with enough time for him to do all of his hootin', hollerin' and adjustin'.
Silly Sassy, Manning calls his own plays. Not only would we not need an OC, but we wouldn't need Reid anymore.
Manning would be the GM, cap guru, head coach, offensive coordinator, and starting QB. His total salary would be $46 million/year. The team would average 4.25 wins/year over his tenure.
Yes, but you can hardly blame the losses on him. He certainly doesn't.
No way. McNabb will win at least one Super Bowl.

I agree 100% with this comment.
18-4. This vote should be no worse for Peyton than 50/50. I'm going to try another thread.

no 23 (74.2%)
I voted "Yes" and mocked those who didn't.
I didn't vote either way, because it is a stupid argument. McNabb is easily the best QB the Eagles have had, if not ever, at least in my lifetime. He is also my favorite player, and I hope that eventually he wins a Super Bowl with the Eagles in order to shut up the IGYs of the world.
But Manning is easily a better QB than McNabb - and was before he was suddenly validated by a Super Bowl victory.

me three
so this is pretty awesome
i don't remember starting this topic. actually, i don't remember ever starting a topic on this board. but it looks like i accomplished what i set out to accomplish.
:-D
This is hilarious. I don't remember this at all, but it looks like I tried being funny and failed miserably, which doesn't surprise me at all.
Also, 32 people voted on this. We couldn't get 32 votes today if we were all allowed to vote thrice.
I just voted yes because Manning just won a superbowl.
Also, Sassy, you were funny, not hahaha funny, but haha funny. That's still better than MDS, who's like, "heh" funny.
Technically mds is haha funny. Haha.
Damned Eagles...
don't lump me in with them
Why would anyone lump in a Washington fan in with Eagles fans?
