i dont know anyone who laughs it off....its not hyperbole to say that our democracy is in trouble....at least until republicans in congress put a check on this monster...

Unless you believe Obama had the FBI plant an informant in Trump's campaign you have no other choice but to laugh it off.

That's always been my position on Trump.  People complaining about specific policy objectives or initiatives are missing the point.  Trump is working to undermine the pillars our society is built on and having moderate success at that.  That will be the lasting impact of his presidency.  Not tax cuts or deregulation or whatever else is problematic in isolation.

Rome

Our country was already in deep shtein before this ridiculous orangutan took office.   I understand his supporters defending him.  They're brainwashed ignorant simpletons.

What truly bothers me is the indifference the rest of the population seems to be showing.  Like, "who farging cares if he tears it down?  As long as my 401K is doing great, who gives a shtein about a president who is systematically pissing on the Bill of Rights every chance he gets?"

That's the chilling part for me, anyway.

Tomahawk

To me the chilling part is the lack of action by Congress

Rome

Which takes its lead from the people.  Why are Democrats not on television screaming every day?  Because they know the public doesn't care and a lot of their constituents love Trump.   The media is making gobs of money on Trump, so they don't give a shtein either.

No one cares.

Let the motherfarger burn.

ice grillin you

yup...the freedom caucus are truly evil hate america crazies....they want this shtein burnt down....the rest of the pubs only care about their reelection prospects and as long as trump is still crazy popular with their voters they aint gonna do shtein...party/me above country

dems tho have truly been pathetic and thats why you see so many newcomers and outsiders winning in local races and primaries around the country....but of course we arent close to any of them winning big offices....its a sad day when in 2018 a nazi or a racist or a child molester is more electable than a progressive or even a liberal

I am actually starting to come here, after a self-imposed hiatus, just for the laughs.  The hyperbole coming out of some of you is akin to the far-right wing nonsense from when President Obama was in office.  It's pretty entertaining.
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

Bruh...people were calling Obama a socialist because he wanted to raise taxes and shtein.

Trump's actively pushing conspiracy theories to try and discredit an investigation into himself, and people are buying it. It's not good.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I guess the art of diplomacy is a bit tougher than the art of the deal.

Clown.

PS: he also suggested any NFL players protesting should leave the country.  He actually said that.  But sure, no need to be scared shteinless about this guy, right Bill?
