Michigan will probably make the National Championship game. At least I hope so. Michigan vs OSU would be a great game like it was before, because both are closely matched, but Florida would get completely obliterated by OSU.

Also the dumbest argument ever is when people say Michigan had their chance and blew it. Had their chance at what? Beating OSU? Last time I checked this was the NC game and not the beat OSU contest. The NC are the two best teams in the country and those two best are OSU and Michigan. Period.

Congratulations.  You actually made a little sense there.   :o

When people say that Michigan already had their chance... the way I see it is with the exception of Arkansas... all of the "other 1 loss teams" were ranked ahead of Michigan when the season started.  They also were ranked #2 at one time or another and they all lost... otherwise Michigan couldn't have jumped ahead of them.  Yet, they all got 2nd chances.  At this point... Michigan is the only one of them who HASN'T had a 2nd chance.

I always make sense but you just may not agree with what I say, which is fine. Everyone has their own opinions.

The way I see it is Michigan lost one game and Florida lost one game. Michigan just happened to lose their game to OSU which should mean nothing in terms of playing in the NC game. The NC should be the two best teams. If they decide Florida is a better team then fine, but I personally think Michigan is better and better by quite a bit. We'll never know for sure until they play, but watching these teams every week, Michigan looks better to me.

I don't want to hear that "this is Florida's shot to beat OSU now" argument, because that isn't what the NC game isn't about. College football isn't a jackpot to see who can beat OSU first. The NC game is about the two best teams. I just hope they put the second best team in there which is Michigan, because Florida will probably be out of the game by half if they play OSU.

Actually yes it is a contest to see who can beat Ohio State now.  That's kind of the point.  You have to beat Ohio State to be the champion.  And I 100% agree with people who said that Michigan had their chance.  farg Michigan, if they could have beaten Ohio State a few weeks ago they wouldn't have to worry about this.  Give someone else a shot.  The SEC from top to bottom is way better than the Big ten this year, Florida should get a chance.

Sorry bub, but a 3 point loss on the road doesn't exactly invalidate Michigan's bid for a title.

Yes, this is one more reason why the BCS sucks and why there should be a playoff.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

That is exactly how I feel about this situation.

Lame, it's going to be Florida. Oh well. They wanted Florida they are going to get it, and also the game will be over by halftime so they can enjoy the bad ratings. OSU is going to destroy Florida.

BCS selection show on FOX:

Fiesta Bowl - Boise State vs. Oklahoma
Orange Bowl - Louisville vs. Wake Forest
National Championship - Ohio State vs. Florida

I guess that means it'll be Michigan and USC in the Rose Bowl. I'm tired of waiting on FOX. They're prolonging this shtein too much. Time to watch the Seahawks game
