its mostly true....but usually when you overlook culture its because you are going for off the charts upside/talent and that's not the case with these picks

Remind me to never openly admire a player's rippling biceps and chiseled abs in public any more.

The weight of everybody's unnatural fascination with Jay's opinions has sucked me back like a black hole.

for the most part no...maybe on how big someone looks in person or the tennis balls in jevon kearses calves...
he truly was a "freak"
Cocky, even ridiculous as it was, from the first finger wag I loved Mills' attitude and energy. I was on board. Then, he made it easy to root for him by outplaying all expectations. Through all of last year, I could overlook his obvious weaknesses, not least because the Eagles were winning. I thought he was still improving because playing time and experience, coaching, were (or would) curb his tendencies to make mental mistakes. The Super Bowl victory didn't hurt.
But four games into this season, I've seen enough. Dude is not a starting NFL corner. We've seen his best. Time for a demotion.
He gave me fits on the Maddox interception...watch here.

Maddox intercepts the pass. The ball is in play. Watch Mills. He's a statue, celebrating. Now, I get that he was the Eagle player furthest from the INT and that the play was moving away from him, but that's no excuse for taking yourself out of the play so you can grandstand. Had he hustled toward the play, he might have provided an extra green hat when Maddox cut back across field, might have been in position to throw an extra block, maybe Maddox could have broken through.
This is emblematic of Mills' play. Frankly, he's a liability. His penalties are mostly legit, and he gets beat far too often. If the Super Bowl went to anyone's head, this guy is exhibit "A."
I want to keep loving him--honestly, I always will love him and every other member of the Super Bowl champions--but I'm officially off the Mills train. Get him off the field, please.
Don't think you'll have any problem with anybody on this board disputing this. We're all in agreement the guy is a liability out there.
mills has been hit with three PI in the last two games....only three teams in the nfl have three PI on the year

Update: Reuben Frank story. (https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/eagles/eagles-cornerback-jalen-mills-arrested-after-fight-nba-player-devin-robinson)
lol the cat from washington went to the hospital and then the team said no qualifying offer. Bad night for him
There goes Mills again, always interfering.
It's been noted that the basketball player should have tried a double move.
He decided flopping was a better move.
its dangerous being black in america
Signing a one year deal - moving to safety
$5M
Now a New England Patriot
4yrs $24m with $9m gtd
Didn't even realize he was a FA.
Also don't care.
I saw that and thought someone on the twitters was hitting the pipe early.
Good for him. Thx for LII. Bye.
Exactly thank you for the Super Bowl where you played like crap, the only memories I have of this guy is getting burned and being infamous for biting more on a pass route then a hungry trout biting on a night crawler. Next.
green goblin hate will not be tolerated here....i friggin loved the guy...he still hasn't returned julio jones soul
Yep.
Loved Jalen here. Loved watching him from his LSU days too.
Here's a full list of defensive players that get thanks for that Super Bowl: Brandon Graham.
they aren't in the super bowl if the goblin doesn't eat JJ alive
Malcom laying Cooks out didn't hurt
Yes! Talk dirty to me. And Malcom's "C'mon Tom!" when he dropped that pass.
