Are the All-in-one desktop computers good?

I've had a Toshiba Satellite laptop for about 4-5 years now...and I'm starting to get the blue screens of death...so, it's on it's last legs.

I have a tablet, but need the PC/IBM compatible stuff. Too lazy to get used to a mac. I don't think I'll need a laptop anymore at this point, so I was looking for a desktop.

Help?

If you need to move it, get a laptop. If you need it cheap, get a laptop. If you need to hook up three monitors and do some serious editing, get a tower.

i cant remember what its called...sunny knows....but theres some program that mirrors excel/word that is a free download...im not sure if it has every last feature that word/excel have but it works great for me to do simple documents and spreadsheets

My work laptop literally took a dump on me. It went through a startup loop, never got to the login screen, and the onboard diagnostic bullshtein did not work. The help desk was so farging unresponsive, I went to the advanced section of the diagnostic window to DOS it up. Because this is something I have zero experience with, I first moved the Systems file from the RegBack directory to the Config directory. After realizing that was probably wrong, I copied the Sam, Security, and one other one I think.

I'm on a loaner now, but did I farg my old computer up?
