To simplify:

PAL = Europe
NTSC = North America

(It's the TV signal used in those regions.)

i thought it had to be something along those lines but wasn't positive.  grassy ass.

this just goes to show that old people, while slow and dangerous behind the wheel, can serve a purpose.

most dvd players in the US only play NTSC, though there were some that played Divx/Pal/NTSC for a while.  Your 360 can play PAL dvd's

Firefox 3.5 is out.  Much faster and has a privacy mode to hide the porn links from the wife...

Norton caught this threat tonight...anyone know more about it or seen it come up? The only site I had open was CF and COmcast.net when it happened

My PC has a wireless connection. For some reason every time I click on something I get this box that says "Connect Microsoft Internet Referral service". The box has a phone number and asks me to dial, when I click dial it does a countdown but nothing happens. The page I'm trying to load pauses until I remove the box and the internet works fine otherwise. Any suggestions?
